The Walks With Winnie Book of Dartmoor walks by Denise Horner, and a set of twelve Dartmoor Walk Cards, one for each of the walks in the book, as featured in the popular “Walks with Winnie” column in the Oke Links Magazine.
The walks take picturesque paths through bluebell woods, over and around abundant rivers and reservoirs, up on to breathtaking open moorland, and visit some of Dartmoor’s many tors, including High Willhays the highest tor on Dartmoor.
Both the book and the cards are beautifully illustrated throughout by Sara Nunan.
The cards are presented as a collection in a wallet. Each card has a route description on one side and a map of the route on the other, ideal for carrying with you in your map case or map pocket on your walk – so that your book can stay safely at home on the coffee table.
The book contains all twelve walks, with additional narration and description.
